Pleasant Valley swept singles play on Tuesday to gain a 4-3 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference victory over Easton in its season opener.
John Hargrave won in straight sets for the Bears at No. 1, while Noah Dolan and Ben Keppel both dropped their first set before rallying for victories.
The winners also received a doubles win from the team of Aaron Rehrig and Jens Hansen.
