Heritage Hill’s Angels will hold caregiver support group meetings every third Thursday of the month beginning at 2 p.m. at Heritage Hill Senior Community.
The group aims to help and heal, as well as provide a discussion to help people caring for an elderly loved one meet, share information and discuss emotions and challenges related to caregiving.
The group will speak with Heritage Hill staff members Angela Giglotti, resident care director; Alicia Gerhard, daybreak coordinator; and Lisa Perla, executive director.
The upcoming meeting date is March 21.
The group is free and open to the public, however they ask you all Rachael or Brittany at 570-420-7335 to RSVP that you will be attending.
Heritage Hill Senior Community is located at 800 Sixth St., Weatherly.
Introduction to Dementia
Heritage Hill will also hold a program called “Introduction to Dementia,” presented by Heritage Hill’s Memory Care Coordinator, Alicia Gerhard.
The talk will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Alicia will also share information about our supportive memory care neighborhood, Shepherd’s Garden, and how its structured program can instill purpose and fulfillment in your loved one’s life.
Kristen Martin, Northeastern Pennsylvania Walk Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association will be in attendance to provide additional resources and answer questions.
Light refreshments will be provided.
