The Revs. Carl and Donna Gray, co-pastors of the First Presbyterian Church of the Panther Valley, Summit Hill, announced last night they have accepted a joint call to the Highland Park Presbyterian Church, Highland Park, IL.

The personable ministers relayed that message to their church council members, asking their pastoral relationship at the church, which ministers Summit Hill, Lansford and Jim Thorpe, be dissolved after the Sunday worship service on Feb. 17.

For the past 13 years, Summit Hill has been the Grays’ home, during which time Rev. Carl has been a volunteer fireman as well, including serving as chief of the Diligence Fire Company No. 1 since 1981.
