The Jim Thorpe Police Department is investigating an attempted break-in on Carbon Avenue.

A white male approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall wearing a tan colored Carhartt style jacket and charcoal colored hooded sweatshirt attempted to enter the residents on Carbon Avenue.
