Blue Ridge Communications announces the kickoff of its 11th Annual Touch A Heart campaign, an initiative designed to inspire individuals to create handmade Valentine cards for distribution to nursing home residents, veterans, soldiers, and those in need.
Last year, Blue Ridge gathered more than 11,000 handmade Valentine cards adorned with personalized messages, delivering them to more than 70 organizations. The heartfelt cards found their way into the hands of individuals who might not otherwise experience the warmth of a Valentine’s Day card. Participation in this year’s Touch A Heart campaign is open to individuals and organizations alike.
“A personal, handmade Valentine card is such a simple gesture that can make a huge impact on those who might feel forgotten on Valentine’s Day,” said Julianne Brixius, Marketing/Public Relations Coordinator for Blue Ridge.
