State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following:

• Police are investigating the theft of a pig roaster from a property on Hickory Valley Road, Hamilton Township. A 48-year-old woman from Stroudsburg reported the theft at 8:54 a.m. Dec. 23.

• A 46-year-old Scotrun woman was charged with defiant trespass after police were called to the Pocono Mountain East High School in Swiftwater at 7:32 p.m. Dec. 8.

Police said the woman had been sent a notice via email and U.S. mail on Nov. 29 that she was not permitted on school property without written consent of a school administrator. They said the woman was then sent an email on Dec. 5 advising her she was not granted permission to attend events at the school. Police said she replied stating she would be at the school on Dec. 8 and a witness observed her inside the school. Police said when the woman was confronted, she denied it.

• Police charged a 44-year-old Mount Pocono man with harassment by communications of a 66-year-old woman from Stroudsburg. The woman told police the man sent her a series of harassing emails between 7:05 p.m. Nov. 22 and 7:10 p.m. Dec. 26.
