The Carbon County Planning Commission reviewed the following plans during its last regular meeting of 2023.
• A plan submitted by Richard L. Getz Jr. was reviewed but no recommendation whether to approve it was made. The plans call for building a self-storage facility on 5 acres of land along Route 903 in Penn Forest Township. It was noted that the plan had several areas of non-compliance and comments would be sent to Penn Forest Township officials for further discussion.
• Troy McFarland received conditional plan approval for a proposed development at 359 West Lizard Creek Road, East Penn Township. The plans call for building a 50-foot by 98-foot pole barn for use at an existing automotive business.
• Virginia C. and Leslie C. Tronzo received conditional plan approval for a proposed subdivision and lot line revision at 14 Hazlewood Drive, Split Rock in the Poconos, Section E, Kidder Township. The plans call for subdividing a 1.27-acre lot into two lots and combining one of the new lots with a 1.38-acre lot.
• Freya Land Company, Pagnotti Enterprises Inc. and Daniel Leto received conditional plan approval for a subdivision and lot line revision at the intersection of Route 309 and Route 4002 in Banks Township. The plans call for subdividing 2.02-acres off a 211.28-acre lot owned by Pagnotti and then shift around lot lines based on newly formed parcels.
