Nesquehoning Water Authority is looking to add an apprentice to its staff as a way to learn the borough’s water system.
The authority announced the new position this week, adding that it will accept applications until Jan. 16.
The apprentice will learn about the water treatment plant, water tanks, pump stations and the authority garages; including helping to repair water infrastructure, authority buildings and utilities, collect leaves and brush, work with carpentry, plumbing, general maintenance, operates borough equipment and more.
