State police at Lehighton

State police at Lehighton released info on the following incidents:

• A 32-year-old Lehighton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol following a one-vehicle crash at 3:50 a.m. Dec. 25 on Breezewood Court, Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said he was driving a 2015 Ford Fusion that crashed and police determined him to be under the influence of alcohol.

• A 31-year-old Easton man was committed to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning, after police learned there was an active arrest warrant out against him.

Police said he was stopped in a 207 BMW for violations on Lehigh Drive in Palmerton at 4:38 p.m. Dec. 23. He will also be charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found the contraband in his possession.

• A 67-year-old Northampton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a traffic stop they made at 8:08 p.m. Dec. 23.

He was stopped on Lehigh Drive in Palmerton in a 2000 Ford F250 for violations.

• A 40-year-old Walnutport man is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop police made at 4:19 a.m. Dec. 24.

He was stopped in a 1993 Mercury minivan at the intersection of Route 115 and the Kunkletown Road in Ross Township for multiple violations.
