Outgoing Franklin supervisor honored at meeting

A Franklin Township official has been recognized for his dedicated service to the township.

At Tuesday’s board of supervisors meeting, outgoing Supervisor Jason Frey was presented with a plaque from board Chairman Fred Kemmerer Jr. for his service to the township.

“We appreciate your years of service,” Kemmerer said. “You brought good things to the township, and you’ve had the best interest of the township always at heart.”

Kemmerer said the plaque is in recognition and appreciation of Frey’s outstanding service and dedication.

He said that Pennsylvania State Associated of Township Supervisors also presented Frey with a certificate of service.

Frey thanked all the township officials, as well as the road crew, and police department.

“They do a great job,” Frey said. “They really do. We’re really blessed.”
