The Historic Prospect Hill Cemetery Heritage Foundation will conduct a flag updating ceremony on Veterans Day, 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 700 N. George St., York.

Volunteers, including Gold Star family members who have lost loved ones in Iraq and Afghanistan, will attend.

Thirty-five new flags will be added to the 2,315 already on display. And one new Pennsylvania flag will be added in honor of Captain Jason B. Jones, of Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, who was killed in battle on June 2.
