Cherise DeMelfi recently graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology with a minor in Spanish.

She has been on the dean's list throughout her collegiate years.Completing an internship with Temple University Episcopal Hospital, Cherise currently resides in Philadelphia and has accepted an internship in Madrid, Spain, where she plans to continue her studies.DeMelfi is a graduate of Hazleton Area High School.She is the daughter of David DeMelfi of Nesquehoning, the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas DeMelfi, Hazleton, and great-granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rocco (Bertollini) Martine and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Avilliano) DeMelfi.
