Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave. Palmerton, will return to its regular worship services at 8 and 10:45 a.m. this Sunday.Sunday School is at 9 a.m. To kick off the beginning of Sunday School, join in "Dancing with the Stars".Breakfast will be served in the Sunshine Room with Egg McLutherans and the fixings. Then get ready to boot scoot with local fitness instructor Julie, who will lead you through your favorite line dances.The church nursery will also be back Sunday during the 10:45 a.m. worship service.A staffed nursery will be available for parents who wish to drop off their children during the service.The Worship and Music committee will meet at 9 a.m. on Sept. 14.Help neededThe Meals on Wheels program in Palmerton is always in need of more deliveries.Deliveries are made from the Palmerton Hospital at around 11 a.m. Monday through Friday, holidays included.Each route requires less than one hour.If you can't commit for a certain day each week, perhaps you would be willing to substitute as needed.To volunteer, or for more information, contact Meals on Wheels Coordinator Richard Bowman at 610-826-3141, ext. 1163.Food PantryThe Palmerton Food Pantry will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 19.The food pantry is located at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton.
