At 8:16 p.m. on July 16, Mahoning Township Police responded to a reported heroin overdose on Orchard Road.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged Gina Miller and Joshua Yorgey, both of Mahoning Township, with possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors.Preliminary hearings for both are scheduled at 3 p.m. Oct. 8.
