Route 309 in West Penn Township was reduced from four lanes to one lane following a head-on crash Friday morning. The accident occurred just north of the intersection with Clearview Crossing. A northbound vehicle crossed over into the southbound lanes, striking another head-on. West Penn police are investigating the incident.
