In-service activities are planned for teachers today and Thursday at the Panther Valley School District as they prepare for the opening of schools on Monday.

Freshman and middle school orientation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday at the respective schools.An open house will be held at the elementary school from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday. All new and current students are invited to attend, said Superintendent Dennis R. Kergick.
