A grand slam in the bottom of the sixth by junior Madison Shaneberger gave Pleasant Valley a 5-4, come-from-behind win over Bethlehem Freedom in District XI softball action.

Adding to the rally was an unassisted double play in the top of the seventh by PV's Jordan Meckes, with the opponent having the bases loaded, to end the game.The win by PV avenges a 10-0 opening game loss to the Patriots.For Shaneberger, this was her second home run of her high school career, and her first grand slam.
