Route 209 in the area of Lansford and Coaldale was reportedly closed this morning because of some type of powdery spill.

According to reports, a substance from a coal truck fell onto the highway, causing police to close it.Officials of PennDOT were summoned to the scene to clean the material off the highway.It was not known how long the area will be closed.
