A flood watch is in effect from 1 p.m. Sunday through 4 p.m. Monday for the region.
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
A cold front is expected to bring 2 - 3 inches of rainfall to the region with locally higher amounts possible.

Tonight: A chance of light rain, mainly after 5 a.m. Patchy fog. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 39. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Sunday: Rain, mainly after 8 a.m. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog before 8 a.m. High near 59. South wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.
Sunday Night: Rain before 4 a.m., then rain and snow. Low around 34. Breezy, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Monday: Snow, possibly mixed with rain, mainly before 7 a.m. High near 41. Breezy, with a west wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 24. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
