The Carbon County Commissioners approved several appointments during their weekly meeting on Thursday.

• Dwight Eisenhauer of Lehighton was reappointed to the airport authority for a five-year term, expiring Dec. 31, 2028.

• Cliff McFarland of Jim Thorpe and Barbara Fogal of Jim Thorpe were reappointed to five-year terms on the Environmental Education Center board.

• Edith Lukasevich of Jim Thorpe was reappointed to a five-year term on the hospital authority. Commissioner Chris Lukasevich abstained from the vote.

• Craig Zurn of Jim Thorpe was reappointed to the Industrial Development Authority for a five-year term.

• Robert Sikorsky of Palmerton was reappointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission for a five-year term.
