State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following:
• A 66-year-old woman from Coplay had $500 in cash and change from a roadside stand she had on Clearview Road in North Whitehall Township.
Police she reported at 12:16 a.m. Nov. 16 that a man removed the money from the cash box in the stand.
• Police investigating a theft by deception case at a property on Woodlea Road, North Whitehall Township.
A 60-year-old woman from Orefield reported a check was altered in the amount of $8,862.14.
• Troy A. Kline, 57, of Slatington, was cited for following too closely after a crash at 8:10 a.m. Nov. 27 on Route 873 in North Whitehall Township.
Police said he was driving a 2015 Hyundai Elantra that “rear-ended” a 2022 Subaru Crosstrek driven by Charles M. Buzik, 47, of Summit Hill, after the latter had stopped at the intersection with Schneck Road for a red light.
Police said the Elantra sustained functional damages and was towed from the scene. The Crosstrek had minor damages.
Police said Kline sustained suspected minor injuries and complained of neck pain, but refused a medical transport. Buzik and a 13-year-old boy from Summit Hill who was a passenger in the Crosstrek were not hurt, police said.
