Monroe man sentenced in drug case

Walter Kenneth Parfaite, 35, of Stroudsburg, was sentenced to 6 years in prison by U.S. District Court Judge Malachy E. Mannion for possessing with intent to distribute 5 grams and more of methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced.

Parfaite previously pleaded guilty to possessing with intent to distribute between 5 grams and 20 grams of actual methamphetamine which was recovered with Parfaite in a Monroe County motel room during the execution of a federal search warrant in February of 2021.
