Route 443 will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday through 10 p.m. Saturday while a bridge beam is removed from the overhead I-81 north bridge.

Route 443 west traffic will be routed on Interstate 81 north to Exit 104 (PA 125) and I-81 south.

Route 443 east traffic will be routed on I-81 south to Exit 90 (PA 72) to I-81 north.

Interstate 81 north will be closed while a bridge beam is removed from the I-81 north bridge over PA 443. I-81 north traffic will be directed to exit and re-enter the highway at Exit 100 (PA 443). Expect delays and please use caution driving through the area.

The I-81 north shoulder will be closed on the bridge until further notice.

The bridge beam was damaged when it was struck by a vehicle on Nov. 1. A new beam is anticipated to be installed in the spring of 2024.
