The Rev. Wilbur C. Albright, Summit Hill, announced Thursday his plans to step down as chairman of the advisory council serving the Carbon County Area Agency for the Aging and its nutrition program.

The pastor of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Summit Hill, he has been at the helm of the two units since the council was founded five years ago and he has contributed immeasurably to the success of the program developed in the office of Leonard F. Marzen Jr., Jim Thorpe, executive director.

Also resigning from the council was Mrs. B.F. Rosenberry, Palmerton, another faithful member who served the board with great distinction.
