Richard J. Hoben, Lansford, was elected president of the Carbon County Tourist Promotion Agency during a meeting last night in the Summit Hill Rod and Gun Club.

Hoben, former editor of the Lansford Evening Record, will fill the unexpired term of Ralph Kreamer, Lehighton.

Kraemer will retain his membership with the agency. He resigned from head of the organization since his employment in Harrisburg does not permit him sufficient time to carry on the duties of the county unit.
