Carbon County Recorder of Deeds Donna Gentile invites those who served in the military to record their discharge papers at the 2023 Carbon County Veterans Fair at Penn’s Peak, Penn Forest Township.

The event from 5-8 p.m. Friday. Veterans are welcome to bring their discharge papers to the event, where they will be scanned “on the spot” and then recorded.

The service is free. Veterans are reminded their DD214 papers are kept confidential.
