I am a Republican and I am voting for Sam Lux. The reason is simple, he is the most qualified candidate for the position. When I choose a plumber, roofer or any other job, I never ask their political affiliation. My only concern is that they can do the job right, and that they are the best person for the job. So why are we using political parties to elect what essentially is a job at the county level.
