State police at Schuylkill Haven - crashes

State police at Schuylkill Haven released information on the following crashes:

• Sarah E. Cramer, 21, of Pottsville, had minor injuries in a one-vehicle mishap at 10:34 p.m. Oct. 2 on Route 443 (Chestnut Road) in West Brunswick Township.

Police said she was treated at the scene by personnel from the Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven Area EMS unit but did not require a medical transport.

Cramer was cited for the incident.

• Michael J. McIntyre, 19, of Pottsville, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:58 a.m. Oct. 1 at the intersection of Route 61 and Pottsville Street in North Manheim Township.

Police said he had minor injuries but did not require a medical transport.

Police said both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Mencke was cited for “traffic control signals.”

• Two drivers escaped injuries when the vehicles they were driving struck deer in North Manheim Township.

The first incident happened at 10 p.m. Oct. 11 on Route 61. Police said Glen L. Ebert, 66, of Cressona, was driving a Mazda southbound when the deer entered the roadway and was struck by the front, driver’s side. The car was towed from the scene.

The second incident happened at 5:26 a.m. Oct. 12, also on Route 61. Police said

Felicia Franco Severino, 31, of Cumbola, was northbound in a 8 Toyota RAV4 when she struck a deer as it was crossing the road. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and was towed from the scene.
