The ninth annual Kids Closet Sale kicked off Thursday evening with its private pre-sale for new moms, consigners and volunteers.

The sale, held at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, is open until 8 p.m. today. It is also open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.A variety of new and gently used items, from maternity through teen, are available at bargain prices.For more information, visit
