Lehigh and Berks were among six counties that had drought watches lifted by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection on Friday.

Along with Lehigh and Berks, drought watches were lifted for Chester, Clarion, Fayette and Venango counties.

Northampton is one of 15 counties - Adams, Bucks, Cameron, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montgomery and Perry the others - that remain on drought watch.
