The Rev. William S. Blackburn proclaimed “God built this church” during the recent dedication ceremony of the new Middlecreek New Christian Church, Kresgeville.

The establishment of the congregation comes after its members declared their independence and separated from the United Methodist Conference. The church is formerly known as Timothy United Methodist Middlecreek Church.

Following their declaration of independence, church members continued to use the church building until while the sides went through Monroe County Court proceedings.
