State police at the Pocono barracks reported on incidents on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
• A crash happened at 8:54 a.m. Oct. 7 at mile marker 88.8 in Kidder Township.
Candace Corrigan Lynch, 39, of Glen Mills, was driving a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica southbound when it lost traction and hit the center barrier before crossing the southbound lane and hitting an embankment on the western shoulder of the road. No one was injured.
• A second crash took place at 2:24 p.m. Oct. 11 at mile marker 120.8 in Taylor, Lackawanna County. Police said a 2020 Freightliner driven by Edison L. Seymour, 61, of Windsor, New York, made an unsafe lane change, striking a 2017 Explorer operated by Donald T. Macrae III, 32, of White Haven. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. Seymour was cited for the crash.
• Police said a vehicle left the scene of a crash at 8:41 p.m. Oct. 5 at mile marker 57.1 in South Whitehall Township. The vehicle was northbound when traffic came to a stop on the ramp at the Lehigh Valley Interchange. Police said the runaway vehicle rolled backward and struck the front of a 2012 Toyota Tacoma driven by Christopher R. Hausman, 36, of Slatington. Police said the striking vehicle exited through the toll plaza.
