APPRISE will hold a seminar meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Tamaqua Community Center.

The APPRISE Program offers free, confidential health insurance counseling to people with Medicare, and is managed by Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries, under a contract with the Schuylkill County Office of Senior Services.The services offered by APPRISE help Medicare Beneficiaries to select the correct healthcare and prescription drug plan for the least amount of money possible. APPRISE also helps to eliminate stress that comes in trying to select the right plan or from selecting the wrong plan.APPRISE also screen clients for all of the federal, state and local programs to help them with the costs associated with these healthcare plans.For more information on the APPRISE program, call Debbie Pauzer at (570) 624-3026.
