The Concourse Club will hold its annual basket spectacular from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John’s Towamensing Lutheran Church on Fireline Road.

The club, known for its wide variety of spectacular baskets with many exceeding the minimum value of $35, will have over 50 baskets to choose from.

In addition to the baskets, their popular home baked goods will be available at the bake sale and the kitchen will be open for dine-in or take out fare.

An assortment of fall soups, barbecue, hot dogs, haluski, and more will be for sale.

All of the proceeds from this event are donated back to the community through donations made to other nonprofit groups. “This event is the club’s largest fundraiser, and the women are very proud of this event,” says event chair Marci Lesko, “Supporting this community is at the heart of this club’s mission.”

Tickets will be available at the door. The prize drawings will be held immediately following the close of the event. You need not be present at the time of the drawing. All winners will be contacted by telephone with further instructions on where to pick up their basket.
