The congregation of the Lansford First Presbyterian Church met after services yesterday with members of the Summit Hill First Presbyterian Church and voted to form a “yolk relationship” between the two parishes.

The Summit Hill church has been without a regular pastor since the Rev. Robert J. Roberts accepted a call to Ebensberg in Cambria County last June.

Named at the Lansford church to arrange the merger were Elwood Rickert, Irwin Forgay, Richard Forgay, Howard Fredericks, Thomas Aiken, McLellan Stewart, Reese Watkins, Clyde Wagner, Ruth Stewart, Betty Malkin, George Davidson and Robert Stewart, all members of the church’s board of trustees and Session.
