State police at Fern Ridge - crashes

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes:

• Daniella Perry, 25, of Saylorsburg, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 3:28 p.m. Sept. 22 at the intersection of Route 115 and Bunny Lane in Chestnuthill Township. Police said she was driving a 2006 Kia Sedona that stopped on Bunny Lane for a posted sign and made a left turn onto Route 115, striking a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander driven by Abaynesh M. Rocha, 49, of Albrightsville, in the rear quarter panel.

Police said Rocha lost control of the vehicle and it rolled over multiple times.

He was treated by personnel from the West End Community Ambulance and transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, East Stroudsburg, to be treated for suspected minor injuries. Perry was uninjured.

Police said the Sedona had front end damages and the Outlander was towed from the scene.

• Two vehicles had minor damages in an incident at 8:45 a.m. Sept. 26 on Running Valley Road in Jackson Township. Police did identify the drivers of a 2006 GMC Sierra and a 2020 Cadillac but said the driver’s side mirrors of the vehicles were damaged in an incident consistent with the Sierra “hugging” the double yellow line closely and the units sideswiping each other.

• Joelly Marin, 39, of Delaware Water Gap, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 6:27 p.m. Sept. 24 on Sherwood Forest Road in Jackson Township. Police said she was driving a 2013 Toyota Scion eastbound when she lost control of the car while rounding a right curve. The vehicle went off the road and struck a guide rail and needed to be towed from the scene, police said. She was uninjured.

• Two people were transported by personnel from the Suburban Ambulance Corps to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Bartonsville, after a crash at 9:22 a.m. Sept. 25 on Route 115 in Chestnuthill Township.

They are Katelin B. Roverana, 31, of Saylorsburg, and Fabiola D. Alvarez, 55, of Effort.

Police said the mishap occurred when Roverana, driving a 2022 Honda, was southbound on Route 115 and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, striking a 2016 Toyota Rav4 driven by Alvarez. Both vehicles sustained heavy damages and were towed from the scene.

Police said Roverana was cited for the crash.
