State police from Lehighton responded Wednesday around 8:15 a.m. to investigate a report of shots fired at an unoccupied car in Bowmanstown on Bowmans Road.

Police determined that an unoccupied vehicle was struck several times by gunfire. No injuries were reported.

PSP Lehighton Criminal Investigation Unit is investigating.
