State police at the Bethlehem barracks have released several incident reports:
• Edward Bonner, 54, of Schnecksville, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 7:40 p.m. Aug. 11 at the intersection of Route 873 and Woodland Road in North Whitehall Township.
Police said he was driving a 2007 Chevrolet that was involved in the crash. Police said his speech was slurred and he appeared to be dazed. Police said he refused to be evaluated by emergency personnel.
He was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, to which he complied, and displayed multiple indicators of impairment, resulting in police taking him into custody.
• A 51-year-old Northampton woman is the victim of a theft by deception incident. Police said they were called on Sept. 7 to a property on Wynnewood Drive, Allen Township, where the woman related she mailed a check that was intercepted, washed and cashed at a larger amount.
• Police were called to a harassment incident at 11:17 a.m. Sept. 9 on Route 873 in North Whitehall Township, resulting in citations being issued to a 23-year-old woman from Allentown and a 20-year-old man from Schnecksville. Police said one of the people shoved the other while the other person damaged the other’s car.
• Police are charging a 61-year-old Bath man for driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop they made at 8:18 p.m. Sept. 3.
He was stopped in a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado along Riverview Drive in Lehigh Township.
