State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said two people, a male and a female, dumped an unknown white object into Saylors Lake on the property on The Lakeside restaurant, Hamilton Road South, Hamilton Township, at 11:13 a.m. Sept. 2.

Police said efforts to retrieve the object from the lake were unsuccessful and members of the Saylors Lake board contacted conservation officers for further assistance.
