• State police at the Lehighton barracks said two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:09 a.m. Sept. 5 at the intersection of Mahoning Mountain and Troxell roads in East Penn Township.

Parsons was transported by personnel from the West End Ambulance Service to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Carbon Campus, Mahoning Township. Semmel was not transported.
Police said Parsons, driving a 2012 Cadillac, stopped at a stop sign facing west on Mahoning Mountain Road and attempted to slowly approach the intersection with Troxell Road in order to see if there was any oncoming traffic.
Police said the height of a cornfield on the south side of Mahoning Mountain Road impeded Parsons’ view and she entered the intersection in front of a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Semmel, causing the crash.
Parsons was cited for the crash.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Wind Gap Ambulance Corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, East Stroudsburg, to be evaluated for suspected minor injuries.
Police said the crash happened when Allen E. Orlick, 37, of Kunkletown, driving a 2015 Subaru Legacy, was northbound on Route 115 when he attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Mountain Road.
Police said he was temporarily blinded by the glare of the sun and his vehicle struck a 2018 Jeep Wrangler driven by Fatzinger, who was southbound at the time.
Police said both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Orlick was not injured, police said.
