A Wilkes-Barre man was killed in a crash Saturday night on the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike.

Carbon County Coroner Robert Miller said Jackie Lynch, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident happened at mile marker 97.4 in Kidder Township shortly before 11 p.m.

Pennsylvania State Police at the Pocono barracks are investigating. A report has not been released at this time.
