Monroe incidents

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported on several incidents:

• A 22-year-old Canadensis man was charged with fleeing and/or attempting to elude police after an incident at 2:04 a.m. Sept. 2 at the intersection of Neola Road and Greenview Drive. Police said they attempted to make a traffic stop of a 2000 Harley-Davidson in the area of Neola Road. The man accelerated and the cycle crashed. Police said he was taken into custody after a brief chase.

• Damages were minor in an incident at 5:55 a.m. Aug. 8 on Route 33. Police said the driver of a 2009 Chrysler Town and Country was northbound when the vehicle hit a tree that was down in the right lane of traffic. The vehicle had minor damages, and the driver was uninjured. A 2011 Toyota Sienna also hit a downed tree in the same area at about the same time. The driver was uninjured and the Sienna was able to be driven from the scene.

• A 41-year-old Lansdale man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop police made at 3:51 a.m. Sept. 3 at the intersection of Route 209 and Polk Valley Road in Hamilton Township. Police said he was stopped in a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe and was taken to the Stroudsburg barracks for a breath test. He had a blood-alcohol reading of 0.157 percent.

• Police arrested a 43-year-old East Stroudsburg man for driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:08 a.m. Aug. 19. He was stopped in a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup for Motor Vehicle Code violations at the intersection of Route 209 and Beaver Valley Road.

• Police were called to an indecent assault incident at 1:45 p.m. Aug. 26 on Route 611. They said a 59-year-old woman from Stroudsburg is the victim in the case that involved a gray Nissan Rogue.

• A 32-year-old Cresco man was cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a domestic case at 10:19 p.m. Sept. 2 on Starlight Drive in Price Township. • A 32-year-old Brodheadsville man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police stopped him for violations while driving a Volvo vehicle at the intersection of Frantz Road and Dal Drive in Chestnuthill Township at 2:18 a.m. Aug. 24.
