Jennifer, a 239-pound porker raised by Anna Marie Butrie in the back yard of her home at 20 Coal Avenue, Jim Thorpe, captured grand championship honors yesterday in the Market Hog Show at the Carbon County Fair in Lehighton. A total of 34 market hogs were displayed by 20 members of the 4-H Club.

A hog owned by Dean Miller of Lehighton was named reserve champion.

Other open 4-H class winners were Faith Szacska, Lehighton R. 4, and Kristin Troxell, Lehighton R. 1, while fair class winners named in addition to Butrie were Clyde Strohl, Palmerton R. 1, and Troxell, and showman winners were Lynn Behler of Lehighotn R. 3, Strohl and Szacska.
