State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following crashes:

• Eugene V. Bonner Jr., 26, of Reading, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle mishap on Route 61 in Port Clinton.

Police said he was driving a 2014 Acura northbound when he became distracted and failed to slow down for traffic that had slowed ahead of him. The Acura struck a 2021 Volvo operated by Sara E. Flexer, 40, of Mohnton.

No one was hurt in the incident.

• A 33-year-old Port Carbon man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:40 p.m. Aug. 27 on Peach Mountain Road in Norwegian Township.

Police said he was driving an ATV that rolled over in the woods in the 1200 block of Peach Mountain Road.

Police did not release any other information on the incident.

• Damien D. Leymeister, 18, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:46 p.m. Aug. 6 on West Adamsdale Road in North Manheim Township.

Police said he was driving a 2008 Subaru Impreza westbound when he swerved to avoid hitting a group of deer that entered the roadway from the western side of the road. The car left the highway, hit an embankment and flipped over, coming to rest on its roof.

Police were assisted at the scene by personnel from the Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven Area EMS, Liberty Fire Company and a local towing service.

Leymeister was cited for the crash.

• No one was hurt in a crash at 3:37 p.m. Aug. 16 on Interstate 81 in Kline Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said a 2021 Ford Transit was southbound when it crossed from the right to left lanes and struck a 2023 Volvo.

Police did not identify the drivers.
