Rock the Fall at Blue Mountain Ski Area

Blue Mountain Ski Area isn't ready to open for ski season, yet. But it's going to be showing itself off next weekend in a partying style.

The Palmerton area ski resort is presenting "Rock the Fall," a two-day concert festival with rides, ski lifts, a pumpkin patch, refreshments, and snowsport vendors.The event is Oct. 10 and 11, with admission at $20 per day for general admission and $25 per day for reserved seating. Entrance and parking is free. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.Gates open at 11 a.m. each day with the music starting at 2 p.m.The show on Saturday, Oct. 10, features Nickelodeon's star from Drake and Josh, actor/musician Drake Bell, as well as pop-rock bands Honor Society, V Factory, KSM, and singer/songwriter Tiffany Giardina.On Sunday, Oct 11, country star Jimmy Wayne (opened for Brad Paisley at the Allentown Fair), Randy Houser, American Idol's Josh Gracin, Jessica Andrews, and Jessica Harp.SaturdayTiffany Giardina is ready to make her mark on the scene with the release of her highly anticipated pop-rock album, "No Average Angel" available now in stores and online.KSM, the L.A. based all girl quintet, is anticipating the release of their 2009 Buena Vista Records debut CD.
