Blue Mountain Ski Area isn't ready to open for ski season, yet. But it's going to be showing itself off next weekend in a partying style.

The Palmerton area ski resort is presenting "Rock the Fall," a two-day concert festival with rides, ski lifts, a pumpkin patch, refreshments, and snowsport vendors.The event is Oct. 10 and 11, with admission at $20 per day for general admission and $25 per day for reserved seating. Entrance and parking is free.
