The Tamaqua girls tennis team and the Palmerton golf team both picked up wins on Wednesday.

Tamaqua posted its first win of the season, cruising past Notre Dame of East Stroudsburg 5-0.
Emily Antonio, Jenna Fernandez and August Stinson swept singles’ play for the Blue Raiders, who moved to 1-2 on the young season. The teams of Gabby Eroh and Bradyn Brothers and Bri Snyder and Jasmine Eberts won both doubles matches for Tamaqua.
The Spartans fall to 0-1 on the season.
