A 42-year-old Auburn man is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop conducted by state police at Schuylkill Haven at 8:58 a.m. Aug. 16.

They stopped the man in a 2009 Subaru Legacy for violations at the intersection of Cinema Boulevard and the Centre Turnpike in West Brunswick Township.

Police said charges of driving under the influence are also pending against the man.
