Pencor Services has announced plans for a 9,600-square-foot building that will serve as the new Palmerton Telephone Company Vehicle Service Garage in Lower Towamensing Township.

Once completed, the garage will be located at 180 Pine Street and will have five bays, a parts department, storage area, a secretary’s office and restrooms.

The garage will service vehicles for Pencor, PenTeleData, Blue Ridge Communications, TV 13, the Times News and TN Printing.

The company has a fleet of 379 vehicles, 163 of which are leased by Blue Ridge Communications through Penske Trucking.
