PV’s golf team also earned a pair of victories during a quad match.

Pleasant Valley swept singles play in earning a 5-1 victory over Pottsville.

The win was PV’s first of the season, and the first in the career of head coach Laura Ammermann.

Brianca Pridham, Carly Rehrig and Molly Schaffner all gained straight-set wins in singles action to boost the Bears’ record to 1-1.

The Tide dropped to 1-1.

PV’s Ben Bush posted the second lowest score in the match, finishing with a 77.
