A 34-year-old Minersville man died in a motorcycle crash at 2:29 p.m. Friday on Tumbling Run Road in North Manheim Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said Bradley R. Renninger was thrown to the ground and succumbed before emergency personnel arrived at the scene.

Police said he was operating a 2011 Harley-Davidson Super Glide east on the highway, just west of township Route 792, when it struck a large fallen tree laying across the highway.

The cycle was towed from the scene.
